Happy New Year everybody! I think now is time to tell you about how 2011 has been good to me. This 2011 year was the beginning of me working as a professional photographer. Out of school since july 2010 I had since then met a lot of amazing people and seen amazing things, participated in great projects and I have so many people to be thankful to.

I've met Fabrice Florent, Madmoizelle.com's big boss, who took a chance on me and took me around his acoustic music sessions for the website to do pictures of the artists, ended up filming with him as well. Actually, here is a Best Of our work together during 2011 . I also covered music festivals for them and you know how that went ;).

I've met the Crumb Magazine team at it's beginning: Thomas Carrié and Laurie Cassagne, both of which I loved working with, issue after issue, and how they've been there for me as friends.

I've worked with Billabong Europe two more times this year, filming the summer collection in Ibiza last May (it'll be available soon ;) ) and the winter one in Biarritz in november. It's been such a thrill to be able to follow the team in these amazing places and to work with them several times.

The Paulette Magazine adventure is continuing and this year they've gotten paper versions of the mag!! The first issue had my best friend Leonie Brun on the cover and I did a few shoots in it too. It's great to see how a project fulfills itself thanks to a motivated team and the contributer's energie combined with the growing followers.

I've also had the pleasure to work with the Paris based brand By Zoé and imagery with lovely musicians such as Moziimo, Arthur H, Prem Sé, 4 Guys From The Future, The Popopopops, Cardinale, got dizzy in Miami filming Walter Sobcek's upcoming new music video.

I met the Lomography team and contributed to their website as a LomoAmigo and tested of the super 35mm analog camera they got out this year :).

Small projects with 3PetitsPoints Magazine and Tracemaker decided I could try being a photography director on Armor:

I met adorable photographers agent, Zeynep Erguven, who is now representing me.

The year ended on a bright event in the form of The Young Fashion Photography Picto Prize for which I was the 2011 prize-winner! It's an amazing step forward and I hope 2012 will be as exiting!

2011 was also a year of music for me, not only being able to work with musicians as a photographer but getting out my personal music project out and being invited to play it during other peoples gigs! With Bastian Melton we've played at the Scopitone, the Espace B, Bouillon Belge, at the Ferme du Bonheur festival with Moziimo, at the Chacha and a Nikita Party for Paulette Magazine, a HomeSpun concert. I also had the honnor to play with Photo at the Panic Room and openning for Nadeah during one of her Concert Sauvage... Thank you all so much for giving us these opportunities.

I developed my latest rolls of film last week and took care of backstage pictures from my stay in Biarritz and San Sebastian (Spain) with the Billabong Europe team. I wish I could show you more amazing sights of the trip but as it is next years collection, i'll leave you the thrill to discover the clothes and the other images over next winter :).

Another last years project: I helped out some friends of mine, Camille Marotte & Günther Gheeraert by "acting" in a music video called Your Garden, made of Matthieu Ouaki. Release of the album, Uddhava, 1st of October, downloadable on Itunes & Deezer! It was so much fun getting away with these guys and see how they work, check em out absolutely!! Camille / Gunther //

November of last year i was flown in to Biarritz to shoot the Billabong Kids Winter 2011 Lookbook. It was an amazing opportunity and experience, the kids and the billy team were perfect to work with, the places we saw were magical. I had only been once to Seignosse and they brought me back to same exact beach were I went surfing when I was 16 :)...

I came home 2 weeks ago from a trip in the states part Family Fun, part Work Fun. First hit the spot in NYC with lil' Bro, lil' Sis and Mum, walking around in the cold snowy Central Park, then headed for Fort Myers Florida where we stayed with my grandma in that warm comfort zone we love. Then I split and headed off with the Walter Sobceks, in a red Mustang, direction Miami where we shot a music video for their next hit (but all that will come around later). :)//Je suis revenue il y a 2 semaines d'un séjour aux Etats Unis à moitié voyage en famille, à moitié boulot. On est d'abord passé à New York puis chez ma grand mère à Fort Myers et enfin j'ai laissé ma tribue pour me faire emener à Miami par les Walter Sobceks pour tourner un clip (mais plus là dessus une autre fois :D)//

Im' back from the Trans musicales Festival in Rennes! What an experience! I'm building up a little project around it. While waiting, you can check out some of the concert pics, including the ones I did, on the Blog des Trans's flickr. I'm still completely out of it when i think about my weekend there. Also here are some leaked pictures from last's months Billabong shoot in Biarritz, that will only come out next august. And also, everybody at Le Scopitone in PAris thursday night!!!

I shot the band Elephant last thursday and finally tried an idea i've had for long time. It was done in the Luxembourg Park, between a split screen second of sunlight and hail storm. Thankfully, we were just done and enjoying scones and coffees when the gust came out of nowhere!!! They were adorable, even though it was freezing and we all got sick :P. Check out the best music video of one of their songs made by the best video makers of the whole intergalactic universe, Sebastien Rippon and Maxime de Pommereau!!!

Oh babys... that morning. It was 7am, we got up at 5.45. You had a hot chocolat and we drank coffee. Took showers, grabbed our bikes and drove for a half an hour. All that just for the pleasure of dawn, of the sun shyly beginning to rise, and the light... The unbelievable pink lantern waking up in the damp corn fields, heating up the 5 °C air surrounding us and the camera. Right in time we almost missed the most amazing golden haze I had ever seen. We took a train back home only an hour later. But that morning... thank god we woke up early.

Le nouveau Crumb Magazine is out!!! J'ai réalisé la couverture lors de l'interview de Bertrand Belin dans les locaux de Cinq Sept en octobre. Monsieur Belin était obnubilant! Difficile d'expliquer ce qu'il dégageait pendant ces 30 minutes d'interview! Au début, Thomas Carrié posait les questions, Laurie Cassagne prenait des notes, et je pianotais mon appareil photo... Puis Laurie a posé son stylo, j'ai baissé les yeux de mon viseur et nous étions parties pour 25 minutes de bouches grandes ouvertes, sans cligner des yeux! Nous étions abasourdies et on buvait ses paroles... Je ne sais pas comment Thomas a put garder son sérieux! En rentrant je me suis jetée sur mon ordinateur et maintenant, son nouvel album, Hypernuit, est toujours dans la liste "récemment écouté" de mon Ipod et je ne m'en lasse pas. Et puis: Oh! Surprise! :D.

Il y a deux semaines, vendredi 12 octobre, Fabrice Florent (capitaine Madmoizelle.com) m'appelle pour me proposer de le rejoindre illico sur une session acoustique a porte de la Villette. Je chope mon matos et arrive pile à temps. Les membres du groupe en question, les Popopopops, sont arrivés et malgré la pluie et les sons de basses des balances provenant du Zénith, on a réussi à se poser confortablement sur des sièges en acier mouillés et à enregistrer le live. Je l'ai ai vus jouer le soir même au Zénith, en première partie des Pony Pony Run Run et ils étaient particulièrement bons. Une présence scénique incroyable, on ne peut pas demander mieux comme première partie je pense... Voici les photos de l'article, écrit par Brune, et des inédites :).

Went to Biarritz for three days to shoot the Kids, winter 2011 Billabong Lookbook.

Met the Popopops at an acoustic session for Madmoizelle.com and ended up spending the rest of the time with Brune, my friend from Madmoizelle, with them at night, after their concert at Le Zenith with Pony Pony Run Run. Unforgettable!

The What About Penguins came for an acoustic "private concert" at my place!! Next Time :)

Spent another night at a recording studio working on my demo and with the spare time left we decided, Bastien and me, to quickly record a "live" acoustic version of Jocasta, a song by Noah and the Whale, that we absolutely love and the recording ended up not being so bad at all. Hey you guys! I just got back from 2 days of filming in the country with Camille Marotte, Günther Gheeraert, Julien Taillez, Mathieu Ouaki and Damien Huguet for a music video :). Two weeks ago, i spent a whole day in a beautiful, gigantic house near Versailles. The thing was, that house was actually built over a cemetery that corresponded to an ancient druidic territory.

Yes, that is true, and what's also true is that 8 beautiful girls, chosen because they are well know web-bloggers, were there to be shot for Paulette Magazine's new fashion online issue. I was the photographer and we were a 15 people staff, including Sebastien Rippon and Maxime de Pommereau who did the AMAZING trailer!! Hope you like all this! :)

//Il y a 2 semaines, j'ai passé une journée entière (jusque 1h dimanche matin!) dans un magnifique, gigantesque manoir près de Versailles. Le fait est que ce bâtiment fut construit par dessus un cimetière qui appartenait à une ancien territoire druidique.

Je vous jure que c'est vrai! :P Ce qui est aussi vrai est que 8 très jolies filles, choisies car elles sont toutes des blogueuses influentes, ont été réunies pour le shoot mode du lancement du site de Paulette Mag. J'étais la photographe et il y avait un staff de 15 personnes en tout, incluant les génialissimes Sébastien Rippon et Maxime de Pommereau qui ont tournés le SUPERBE teaser du shoot!! J'espère que ça vous plaira! :) //
